Carson Wentz is most recognized for his time while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles; however, he also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts.
Later, the Eagles concluded that they would not choose Wentz and instead make a trade for Jalen Hurts, who has since assumed the role of quarterback for the team.
Injuries are a significant contributing reason to the positive turn of events in Philadelphia. In the meanwhile, over in Washington, Wentz has established himself as a fan favourite among the Commanders.
His statistics have been outstanding during the first two contests. The Commanders have yet to win a game but have shown a lot of offensive potential in their play.
In a battle for first place in the NFC East, Wentz and the Commanders will face off against the Eagles on Sunday. Check out our picks, predictions, and odds for this weekend’s game between the Washington Commanders and the Philadelphia Eagles by scrolling down below.
Our Prediction: Eagle vs Commanders
Philadelphia is 2-0 after beating the Lions and Vikings. Jalen Hurts has 576 yards, a TD, and an INT in two games. Hurts has 28 carries for 147 yards and three touchdowns.
Since entering the league, many doubted Hurts. In the first two games, he looked great behind an outstanding offensive line. His favourite target, A.J. Brown, is 15-for-224. Week 1 wasn’t DeVonta Smith’s week, but Week 2 was. Hurts don’t pander.
His desire to win appears. The Eagles allow around 340 yards per game on defence. Last week against the Vikings, the run defence improved despite poor tackling. Philadelphia’s pass rush will help the secondary make plays.
Carson Wentz has 650 yards and seven touchdowns. Last season’s Colt’s success shouldn’t be overlooked. Matt Ryan’s Colts have lost two favourites this season. Wentz is 1-1 but has thrown three interceptions.

Curtis Samuel had the most catches with 15 for 113 yards. Samuel scores twice. Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson will also contribute. The defence having trouble stopping the run and covering.
They’ve allowed 422.5 yards per game, including 157 rushings. Last week, Washington surrendered 36 to Detroit and 22 to Jacksonville. Chase Young is still out with a knee injury. He’ll assist Washington, but not tonight. Even though Philadelphia is missing a lot of tackles, the offence should be able to cover the spread.
